Here's Information Governance Officer, Suzanne Sugden. Suzanne is seeking support for further responses to our Information Governance Survey, which was initially shared in February.

She told us: "I’ve been at CHFT since 2020 and my role is to support the Trust in being legally compliant in relation to Information Governance.

"Every year I plan and run our awareness survey as part of our self-assessment for The Data Security and Protection Toolkit.

"It’s important that we measure our performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards because as a Trust we handle a vast amount of highly sensitive data every day. Keeping it protected and having an awareness of information governance is the responsibility of each and every one of us.

"Part of our assessment is checking colleagues' understanding of the mandatory training on information governance and data security with a quick survey. It will help us understand how the training is helping and whether it needs to be improved or amended.

"Your participation in the survey will also help shape future training, so that the Trust can provide the best possible service. If you could take a couple of minutes before Sunday, 24th May to complete it, it will help us with our self-assessment.
