Nominations for the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer (CAHPO) Awards open this coming Friday, 1st May. The CAHPO Awards are a unique opportunity for allied health professionals (AHPs) to receive recognition for their personal contributions towards delivery of exceptional care for patients. The awards also promote adoption and scale of good practice through celebrating and sharing success.

We have more than 1,000 AHPs and AHP Support Workers at CHFT. Colleagues like Morgan Matschull (Specialist Adult SLT), Rachel Pierce (Adult SLT), Ciara Booth (Specialist Adult SLT), pictured left.

The Awards are open to all AHPs including support workers, assistant practitioners, registered professionals, and pre-registration apprentices and students. You can either nominate yourself or another AHP or AHP team. Please visit our CAHPO Awards FAQs webpage for further information.

But be quick - nominations close on Sunday, 31st May.

Submitting a nomination:

  1. Review the instructions pack before submitting a nomination.
  2. Submit your nomination (nominations open on Friday 1 May)

Associate Director of Therapies - Community Division, Christine Beck, said: "We provide some amazing services across CHFT to our patients, students, and colleagues. I know often our AHPs just think it normal delivery of care, but honestly, it is fantastic where we are leading the way in what we deliver. Let's shout out about it and get those nominations in."
