It's the news colleagues have been waiting for as our popular Golden Ticket ballot for our CHuFT Awards ceremony at The Arches Dean Clough on Thursday, 2nd July, is now open.

Five winners will be drawn weekly over the next six weeks, and each will win two tickets - one for them and one for a colleague. The final date to enter is Tuesday, 26th May.

We’ll share the winners every Monday in CHFT News, and the names will be added to our Staff Awards and Appreciation intranet page which you'll find on the right-hand side of the intranet homepage. 

Nominations for our 2026 CHuFT Awards close two weeks today on Monday, 4th May. In our separate draw, colleagues who nominate will continue to be included in their own dedicated Golden Ticket draw, with final names chosen on Tuesday, 5th May.

Housekeeper, Jane Shields, pictured middle, has been nominated in the new Excellence in Support Services category for her care, kindness and keeping Ward 10 spotless.

Jane said: “Discovering that I had been nominated in the Excellence in Support Services category was both surprising and overwhelming. I felt very emotional as it shows that other people appreciate my hard work and continued support to the ward which I have provided for the last 16 years. It has left me smiling very proudly.”
