Postural tachycardia syndrome (PoTS) is when your heart rate increases very quickly after getting up from sitting or lying down, often making you feel dizzy or lightheaded. There's currently no cure, but it can be managed with changes to lifestyle, or sometimes treatment with medicines.

Whether you’re new to the condition or looking for a refresher, this beginner-friendly session will cover the fundamentals, helping you better understand and support patients living with PoTS.

The programme will cover:

  • making a diagnosis
  • overlapping orthostatic intolerance syndromes
  • co-morbidities
  • management and service models
  • research updates

A full agenda is below.
