To reduce waste and make cost savings, from Monday 13th April, patients receiving Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) will not go home with supplies previously supplied in OPAT kits (brown boxes).

Instead, their stock will be supplied from community bases via both Calderdale and Huddersfield community teams.
