We are making some changes to management referrals in our Occupational Health Management Referrals system from Tuesday, 7th April 2026.

From then, all referrals will be sent to the colleague being referred by email for pre-consent before being submitted to Occupational Health.

This is to foster a culture of openness and transparency, as well as ensuring the individual being referred is involved, and willing to participate in the management referral process. Colleagues will have three days in which to give their pre-consent, after which time the referral will auto submit.

Are you a manager?

Please support the Occupational Health Team by:

• Ensuring you enter the most appropriate email address for the colleague you are referring. For example, if they are not currently in work, please use their personal email address
• Notifying colleagues that a referral has been submitted and to check their emails to view the referral and give their pre-consent.
