Throughout March, CHFT colleagues can help improve the experiences of unpaid carers by asking them to complete a short online survey.

The survey can be accessed at Unpaid Carers Experience at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust or using the QR code attached below.

Colleagues will also be visiting areas across CHFT in March to speak with unpaid carers, and we would also be grateful to any unpaid carers who would like to share their recent (ideally within the last 12 months) experience using the online survey.

The survey will close at 5pm on Friday, 27th March.

Senior Nurse, Vicki Drummond, said: "It is so important we hear about people's experiences as unpaid carers whilst the person they care for received care and support from CHFT. The results of the survey, along with real time feedback, will help to shape and prioritise our efforts to improve the experience of unpaid carers over the next 12 months."

A summary of what we have heard and the actions we will take will be shared on the CHFT website in May: https://www.cht.nhs.uk/about-us/patient-experience-and-what-we-do-with-your-feedback
