Senior Estates Officer, Scott Downsborough, felt so passionately about the services that the Mechanical Team at HRI provide behind the scenes, that he was the first colleague at CHFT to enter a nomination when our CHuFT Awards website opened earlier this month.
Scott said: “I wanted to show the team how much I appreciate them and the work they do.
“They’re often the hidden heroes. They work in the plant room at HRI, and they help keep our hot water and heating, amongst other things, running smoothly across the whole site.
“They often don't get the recognition for the work that they do, as it is often in the background and away from the public eye.
“I just want to give them a chance to be recognised and appreciated.”
Since the Awards website opened just a fortnight ago, we've had almost 40 nominations. The big question is...who will you nominate?
