Colleagues in our MRI team were recently thanked in a very unique way by a patient who was incredibly grateful for the care she received.
The patient was nervous when she arrived for her MRI scan, but the team managed to help relax her enough to proceed with the appointment. She was with the team for an hour and music was played during her scan to help keep the nerves at bay. After her scan, the patient asked if there was any chance they could tell her the results.
As the team aren't able to do this, they replied jokingly that they could confirm she has a heart!
All of her experience has been captured in a brilliant cartoon drawing that she created and gave to the team to say thank you.
Radiology Quality Manager, Claire Gruszka, said: "The MRI team are blown away that she was able to capture all their faces and her experience in such a way."
