Our dietetics team are happy to announce that that their Nutrition Study Day is back. It's being held on Tuesday 26 September.

It's aimed primarily around adult nutrition in the acute settings to:

  • increase the awareness of malnutrition, potential risks and complications
  • understand the role of the dietitian
  • emphasise the importance of screening using the MUST tool
  • become familiar with the different aspects of nutrition support
  • be aware of policies relating to nutritional aspects of care

Morning and afternoon sessions available - 30 spaces available on each:

  • Morning: Essential Includes MUST screening, catering, nutritional supplements, enteral and parenteral nutrition introduction Afternoon: Advanced Practical Includes enteral nutrition, NG training with Nutrition Nurses Available to: CHFT colleagues with an interest in nutrition
