Our friends from Healthwatch Kirklees have visited our Eye Clinic, Discharge Lounge and Ward 20, main picture, to say a special thank you to the colleagues who have truly embraced the Trust's commitment to #KeepCarersCaring. 

Keep Carers Caring Volunteers, Chloe Hudson - pictured below - and Bev Smith, who sadly wasn't working when they visited, have been recognised as instrumental in the success of helping carers feel seen, heard and involved when visiting our inpatient and outpatient areas with their loved ones. 

The volunteers hold promotional stands to share awareness of the lanyards, as well as follow-up calls to families to see how well they feel supported. In the first quarter of the campaign the team have made 90 hours of calls.
