At last – CRH has a flagpole! And what better way to christen it, than by flying our very own Colleague Appreciation Week flag – launched yesterday at the start of our annual thank you event. 

Suzanne, pictured with the flag below, said: “Our appreciation events are just getting better and better. Colleagues have fed back that they love them, so it’s a real pleasure to kick-off another week of events.

“One Culture of Care has never been more evident than the past few months. Colleagues continue to go over and above for each other, so this week I’d encourage colleagues to send a quick note of thanks, either through one of our stalls, where we have thank you cards, or our online portal.

“We all know how a thank you feels – and it may just be the little act that lifts someone today.”

You can also give your thanks via the intranet. Do make sure you give the right email address so the colleague you're thanking gets it. If you're sending to a team you can always let one colleague know.
