Today we’re relaunching One Culture of Care – our Trust-wide commitment to caring for each other in the same way we care for our patients.
One Culture of Care is our internal culture and wellbeing brand. It reflects who we are, how we work together, and how we support one another every day.
From today and throughout February, colleagues from Communications and Workforce and Organisational Development, alongside volunteers from other teams across the Trust, will be visiting teams across all our sites. They’ll be circulating One Culture of Care wellbeing pocket cards, which include a QR code linking to mental health, financial and physical wellbeing support. They're designed to be small enough to fit in your badge holders - so that wellbeing information is on hand when you need it. All the information can be accessed on any smartphone, without the need to enter a password or access the intranet.
The team will also be doing walk-rounds and inviting colleagues to share their thoughts by answering the question: “What does One Culture of Care mean to you?” You may be asked if you'd like to write your response on a board or have your team photo taken. These reflections will be shared through our internal channels to celebrate the many ways One Culture of Care is in action across the Trust.
This relaunch also marks two years since we introduced the refreshed One Culture of Care logo, providing an opportunity to reconnect with the principles behind it and reflect on how our culture has continued to grow.
Jason Eddleston, Director of Workforce and Organisational Development, said: “One Culture of Care is about how we look after one another, day-in and day-out. Hearing directly from colleagues about what this means to them is incredibly powerful. This relaunch is a chance to celebrate what we do well, strengthen our sense of community, and remind ourselves that support is there whenever we need it.
"This is about reinforcing that we are one team, encouraging conversations about wellbeing, raising awareness of the support available, and sharing what we’re proud of. It also aligns with the opening of CHuFT Awards nominations, helping to shine a light on the brilliant people and teams across our organisation."
If you see the team out and about, please take a moment to stop, chat, and share your perspective.
