This coming Wednesday, 11th February, the multitone bleep system at CRH will undergo a planned server upgrade. This essential update will modernise the emergency bleep paging system used by clinical staff, improving long‑term resilience and system integrity. 

What’s happening and when?

• Date: Wednesday, 11th February 2026  

• Time: 10:00 - 14:00 (four hours) 

• Expected impact: No disruption is anticipated, though in the unlikely event of disruption to emergency paging, issues are expected to be resolved within 30 minutes. 

If the switchover to the new server results in any unexpected issues for longer than 30 minutes, we will immediately revert to our existing paging system. 

Radio downtime plan - please familiarise yourself with the plan

Between 10:00 and 14:00 we will activate the Radio Downtime Plan. The plan outlines the standard operating procedure, and the actions colleagues should take, including who has been allocated to collect the radios at 08:00 on Wednesday.
