From today, Monday, 26th January the ECG order options on EPR will be updated as follows:

ECG Inpatients/Same Day

To be used for:

  • Inpatients on the ward
  • Any Outpatients who required an ECG on the day

ECG (Outpatient Referral) 

  • Outpatients who need to be scheduled within the Cardio-Respiratory Department within six weeks.

Note: This option also includes a pop-up advising that, if No is selected for Cardio-Respiratory Department, the order must be cancelled, and ECG/Inpatients/Same Day should be used instead.

ED ECG

  • This option remains unchanged
