Our incident reporting and management system, InPhase, is having an upgrade next Tuesday 27th January. There will be no downtime as the upgrade will run in the background, sometime on Tuesday evening.
Colleagues should see changes that improve their experience and address previously raised issues.
Visual changes
- The logo will look slightly different (see the image left)
- The issue with headings in templates overlapping (see the image below) will be resolved
- Images which have been attached to InPhase records currently display a thumbnail image as default. This will no longer display to maintain data security and patient privacy. There will be a toggle to display the image thumbnail if needed.
New feature - three new notification reminders
Three new reminder notifications are being introduced:
- Overdue Incident: Incident Managers will receive a reminder email every 20 days from an incident being opened. There is a link at the bottom of the email to access the incident.
- Risks Due for Review: Risk Leads will receive a reminder email seven days prior to a risk they own being due for review. The risk ID will be included in this email. To search for the risk, click on the Risk icon on the InPhase homepage
- Overdue Actions: Action owners will receive a reminder email seven days prior to an action deadline, and every 15 days after. To view your actions, please click on the Incident icon on the InPhase homepage
The system is already aware of the dates of incidents and risks, so colleagues may see email notifications as soon as the upgrade is complete. Please check your Other inbox in Outlook if expected notifications aren't arriving.
Please see the guidance document below which has screenshots and advice.
