Welcome to the world baby Joey! Joey was the first baby at CRH in 2026, born at 03:48 to proud parents Louise and Demi. 

Midwife, Laura Standidge, Laura and Student Midwife, Ella Pearson, were with them throughout labour and saw the New Year in with the proud parents. Altogether eight babies were born at CRH on New Years Day.

Our maternity colleagues (pictured) also welcomed 12 Christmas Day babies. They included Oliver Wadsworth, who was born at 1.28am, weighing 6lb 13oz, to the delight of parents Sarah Porter and Max Wadsworth (pictured).
