Point of Care Testing (POCT) are rolling out a new BM and Ketone machine across CHFT, and all colleagues involved in testing blood sugars and Ketones must attend training before they can use the new devices.

Drop-in sessions will be held over the next six weeks. See below for the sessions, which will all begin on the hour, though the training isn’t expected to last the whole 60 minutes.

Please be aware that wards will not be able to use the new devices until 75% or more colleagues have been trained.
