The Paediatric area in CRH has recently had some improvement work to improve the experience for colleagues as well as patients and families. 

Work has included relocating the main entrance doors and introducing swipe-card access at other entry and exit points. The department is now a secure environment for colleagues, patients, and visitors.

Matron, Leanne Baziw, said: "These changes also allow staff to have clear oversight of the waiting area, which was not previously possible. Together, these improvements help us provide a safer, more secure, and more appropriate environment for children and their families."
