Our Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Team recently held a celebration event in the learning centre at CRH to help support and develop the teams.

The event welcomed external and internal speakers who were able to deliver engaging workshops on topics that focused on the idea of communities of support and professional development.

Teams from across SLT attended, including: the Adult Hospital Team, Adult Community Team and our Children's Team. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate each teams achievements this year as well as learn from one another.

Professional Lead for Speech and Language Therapy, Lisi Czira, said: "Our therapists have continued to provide high quality, patient focused care in extremely challenging times. This event was an opportunity for them to come together to celebrate successes, reflect on achievement, and consider service and professional development opportunities. It was lovely to see three teams who share a profession but who rarely cross paths, all in one room, focusing on positive achievements and possibilities in the world of speech and language therapy."
