Our Lymphoedema Team ran a support group earlier this month at Elland Cricket Club. 

Lead Specialist Lymphoedema Nurse, Catherine Stubbs, said: "We hosted around 85 people and had guest speakers.

"They included ladies from Breast Buddies, a support group for breast cancer patients. Richard from Andy's Mans Club came and gave an informative session, we had a patient experience talk and our colleague Stephanie Arthur did a presentation for Lipoedema patients.

"Ben from the garment company Juzo, also came to help patients with any problems they may face through their garments. 

"We had a tombola and provided tea, coffee and light refreshments. 

"We have had very positive feedback and are hoping to run the events every six months."
