The IT Silver Service Team visit clinical areas regularly to provide support with any technical issues that could be affecting colleagues. 

They help with:

  • Log in issues
  • Imprivata set up: tap and go
  • Education 
  • System access (EPR, K2 Athena, First net)
  • Password resets: provide a guidance and demonstration
  • Information on 724 cart and printer location and how they function

Their new intranet page which can be accessed from the left hand side of the intranet homepage (see image) includes a timetable of planned visits at CRH and HRI. 

Visits may be affected if there are critical issues, so it's always recommended that jobs are logged with the Service Desk which can be done in the following ways:

By phone:

  • Call 01484 342600 or ext. 2600 internally. Please check with your service provider if using a mobile phone.
  • Service Desk colleagues are at the end of a phone Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00.

Online:

  • Login using the Service Desk icon from your desktop (see below) or by visiting remedy.this.nhs.uk 
  • To login, use the same user name and password that you use to access your CHFT account.
