Another fabulous team effort from the eye clinic team, who continue to raise money for good causes.

Clinical manager for orthoptics and optometry, Emma Griffiths, said: "Our healthcare assistant Bev Smith, pictured second left, organised this event and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) manager came to collect the cheque last week.

"Bev is an inspiration to others to work together to achieve great things. More fundraising for causes close to our teams heart coming soon!" 

The team chose BHF, as a couple of colleagues had sadly lost family members in a short space of time. 

Bev added: "I thought if we do an Easter raffle, cake stall and tombola, we could raise money for the Heart Foundation and whilst doing that it would boost staff moral. We raised £606 altogether and it was a pleasure to hand the cheque over last week."
