A new training and education programme has been introduced to help staff working in NHS trusts to meet the evolving needs of the Armed Forces community.
Available to all NHS trust staff, the national Armed Forces healthcare training and education programme equips teams with specialist insight, knowledge and resources to provide the best care possible to this patient group.
The quick and easy to do programme is being delivered by dedicated regional trainers and comprises a range of modules. Please see this short video on the programme by veteran, gold-medal winning Paralympian and regional trainer Gregg Stevenson MBE.
Sessions are available to book from the calendar available on the programme page. Module 2 is specifically for NHS chief executives and senior leaders, and module 3, a 30-minute practical guidance session, is aimed at frontline staff working in the NHS.
