Our Inpatient Pharmacy at HRI has had a refurbishment and the team working there couldn’t be happier.

Clinical Director of Pharmacy, Elisabeth Street, got in touch to share her thanks to the team and of course CHS’s Senior Estates Officer, Jammal Mohammed, saying: “The team have done an amazing job at moving to the interim dispensary and then moving back into the new space with no delays in patient care. Thanks must also go to our fantastic colleagues in CHS for their support, Jammal in particular."

Senior Pharmacy Technician and Dispensary Manager, Liz Preston, pictured front, said: “I will be celebrating 25 years with the Trust on the 27th November and this refurbished department is like a gift.

“The new space is fresh and clean and has enabled us to change some of our processes to continue to give excellent patient care.

“It isn’t often you get to press reset at work and almost start from scratch, but this project has given us that opportunity. I am very proud of the space but mostly of the whole Pharmacy Team who have had to adapt to moving twice in two months and get used to working different ways whilst still dispensing all the medication needed for our patients.”
