The NHS Staff Survey closes later this month and today the response rate across CHFT is currently 44.2%.
Our team from General Surgery are smashing their responses, with more than 52% already filling out the survey to feedback on what it's like to work at CHFT. We asked the team what they've done to encourage their colleagues to get involved.
Matron for General Surgery and Speciality Services, Sarah Bray, said: "Colleagues within General Surgery have really got involved this year with the survey and feel its important to have their say.
"They are a credit to the Directorate for all the hard work they all do for their teams, colleagues and our patients.
"Within General Surgery we have encouraged the completion of the survey though team huddles daily and meetings.
"Our Matrons have also been out and about and available for discussions, so that our colleagues understand why it's important to complete the survey and how we use the results to implement changes to make improvements for colleagues and patients.
"Our Deputy Director of Operations, General Managers, and Operations Managers have also supported and always give such positive feedback around the work we are doing and encourage us in everything we do."
The next reminder will land into email boxes from IQVIA, our staff survey provider, this coming Wednesday, 12th November.
The survey is anonymous and usually takes between 10 and 15 minutes to complete. Whilst the survey is sent to all NHS staff, completing it gives you an opportunity to share with us, what’s working really well and what you would like to see be improved here at CHFT. Responses are confidential, and your feedback is valued.
