Colleagues have been taking part in a new podcast series all about wellbeing at CHFT. Anyone can give the free podcasts a listen, which are only around 15-20 minutes long. The first podcast is available online here: Wellbeing Podcast: Managing Stress with Jacob, and new episodes will be released each month.

Endoscopy Decontamination Supervisor, Jacob Miah (pictured, top centre), was interviewed for the first podcast. Jacob said: "I chose to talk about managing stress at work because it's something that effects everyone in different ways, and I think it's important that we have open conversations about how we can support each other and ourselves in the work place.

"Recording the podcast was completely new experience for me. I was very nervous at first but after a while it turned out to be very enjoyable and its a great opportunity to share ideas in a more personal and relaxed way.

"I'd really encourage colleagues to give it a listen because it's a relatable topic for everyone with some practical takeaways. Its a good reminder that we are all human - we all deal with stress, but we can learn simpler ways to manage it better. I look forward to the rest of them coming out!"
