The Special Allocation Service (SAS) replaced the previous Safe Haven service managed by LCD in April. It is now known as Locala SAS and covers Calderdale and Kirklees Places.

SAS is provided to ensure primary medical services are maintained for patients who have been removed from mainstream general practice due to violence or threats of violence involving the police.
