The Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Support Group held their latest session recently at Elland Working Men’s Club. 

Cardiac Rehabilitation and Heart Failure Team Leader, Clair Jones, said:" It was yet another huge success and the turnout was far beyond what we expected, with more than 100 people joining us!

"The team did an incredible job, working together seamlessly to make the evening run smoothly.

"We kicked things off with a fantastic presentation from Dr. Talal Ezzo, Consultant Cardiologist at CHFT, who gave a fascinating talk about the heart and the different cardiac conditions many in the audience could relate to.

"This was followed by a truly heartfelt talk from John Steele from Andy Man’s Club, which really resonated with everyone in the room.

"Afterwards, guests enjoyed refreshments and had the chance to visit the many information stands. It was lovely to see so many people chatting with colleagues, experts, and each other, sharing stories, experiences, and advice.

"A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the night such a success. And an extra special shout-out to our Cardiac Rehabilitation Team for your hard work and dedication made the evening one to remember!"
