National Hate Crime Awareness Week is held from the 11th - 19th October and is an important time to stand together against prejudice and discrimination. At CHFT we are committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels safe, respected and valued. Including colleagues, patients and visitors.
As part of the week, Calderdale Council are hosting an event which will be bringing together partner agencies who provide vital services for those affected by hate crime.
The event is an opportunity to:
- Hear directly from agencies including the Crown Prosecution Service, West Yorkshire Police and agencies offering support to victims of hate crime
- Learn about the range of services available in our community
- Strengthen connections between organisations, communities, and individuals working together to challenge hate
- Attend a workshop to shape future provision of hate crime services in the borough
