Ward Manager, Emma Longden is one of our peer flu vaccinators this year. She said: "Healthcare workers are so good at looking after other people, but we're not always as good at making time for ourselves. I want to be a peer immuniser to support colleagues in accessing vaccinations, so they are protected and well over our busiest months."
In just under two weeks, we have given over 1,550 flu vaccines to CHFT colleagues, which is fantastic.
Have you had your vaccine elsewhere?
We know that some colleagues may have chosen to visit their GP or Community Midwife for theirs. If this applies to you, please complete our self-declaration form so our records are correct. You can also use the form if you wish to decline the vaccine.
