Colleagues from the Appointment Centre have been fundraising for the Smith-Magenis Foundation, as Appointment Clerk, Joanne Wayte’s nephew, Harrison (pictured) is living with the condition.

Four of the team knitted dolls, bears, dinosaurs, frogs, penguins, bumblebees and rabbits amongst other creatures, selling them in the department and on the front desk at HRI.

The items were made by Appointment Clerk, Suzzanne Fox and Urology Secretary, Emma Evans. Suzzanne's cat, Flash (pictured), couldn't help but catch a look at them through the window!

Joining them was Medical and Waiting List Secretary, Linda Knight and her daughter Urology Secretary, Phoebe, who made keyrings.

Phone Team Supervisor, Hussnain Bashir Bhatti, said: “We should also thank Leanne Vickers and Lyn Sutcliffe on the security desk who had a basket of goodies on their desk too.

“Thank you to everyone who bought items. The team raised £400 in total with Gift Aid.”

The Smith-Magenis Foundation have shared a post on social media thanking the team. See the image below.
