A series of drop-in training sessions are being held for Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Champions. 

These sessions are important as audits are scheduled to be undertaken soon in all areas. The training will help to ensure champions are clear on their responsibilities.

Dates and locations:

  • Tuesday, 4th November, CRH Learning Centre Room 3
  • Monday, 24th November, HRI Learning Centre Forum 2
  • Monday, 1st December, HRI Learning Centre Forum 2
  • Friday, 12th December, CRH Learning Centre Room 5

Times:

  • Sessions will run every hour from 09:00 – 15:00 (excluding 12:00–13:00 for lunch)

The training will cover:

  • The role and responsibilities of a COSHH Champion
  • How to access the required information
  • A walk-through of a good example of a COSHH folder
  • Guidance on the documents that need to be printed and maintained for each area
