Here is a brief description of recent policy changes. Please make yourself aware of the changes, as they may also impact training requirements.
Policies that have been added, updated or renewed within the last 30 days are all stored on the Recent Updates page of the Policies and Documents library. So you can find these documents there or search from the homepage.
- New interpreting and translation contract.
- Introduction of multi-factor authentication.
- Removal of references to the deletion of NHS.net accounts as it is the intention to use these in the future.
Joint THIS Registration Authority Policy
- Committee Approval – IGRMSG removed
- Updated Customer List
- Replaced CIS/CIS2 with CIM
- Section 6.5 - removed two of the three options available to educational establishments and added the self-service unlock function
- Section 10 - smartcard certificate renewal updated to three years
- Section 16 - update to contact number
- Reviewed and updated to incorporate new UKRIO guidelines and procedure for the investigation of misconduct in research.
Point of Care Testing (POCT) Policy
- Updated based on new external standards and requirements. Policy transferred to the new Trust template.
