Calderdale Council are holding an event at Calderdale College on Wednesday, 15th October, during National Hate Crime Awareness Week (11th to 18th October). The session will bring people together who provide vital services for those affected by hate crime, and aims to continue building safer, more inclusive communities.
The event is an opportunity to:
- Hear directly from agencies including the Crown Prosecution Service, West Yorkshire Police and agencies offering support to victims of hate crime
- Learn about the range of services available in our community
- Strengthen connections between organisations, communities, and individuals working together to challenge hate
- Attend a workshop to shape future provision of hate crime services in the borough

Time: 10.00 – 12.30 (registration and refreshments from 9.30am).
Venue: Calderdale College, Inspire Centre, Francis Street, Halifax HX1 3UZ (parking available on both car parks on Francis Street and Parkinson Lane sites).
