The annual NHS Staff Survey is now live and colleagues should get an email today inviting you to complete the survey.

The survey is anonymous and usually takes around 15 minutes to complete. Whilst the survey is sent to all NHS staff, completing it gives you an opportunity to share with us, what’s working really well and what you would like to see be improved here at CHFT. Responses are confidential, and your feedback is valued.

This year there are a few differences to make it easier to complete:

  • The email will come into your inbox from IQVIA, our new staff survey provider this year. It will be marked as important, making it easier to spot
  • IQVIA will also be running a helpline, open from 9.00am to 9.00pm daily.  Colleagues can either email helpline-qh@iqvia.com or call their freephone number on 0800 783 1775 -  you can ask them any questions you have regarding how the staff survey is managed.

Everyone who completes the staff survey will be placed in a weekly raffle with the chance to win a £50 voucher. The draw takes place each week and is managed directly by IQVIA.

Once we have the survey results early next year, each division reviews the feedback and develops plans to continue to make CHFT a great place to work. Over the last few weeks we've shared what some of our teams have already done with last year’s survey results and how it has improved the experience of colleagues.

Clinical Research Team Leader, Georgina Turner, said: "The Research Team have been encouraging all colleagues to complete the NHS Staff Survey as it is an opportunity to have their say about working at CHFT. It allows each staff member to have a voice in how our services are shaped and what they would like to see improved. It is important to capture everybody’s feedback to enable growth as an organisation."

Operational Manager, Surgical Division, Kam Khehra, said: "For our Admin staff we’re making it easy for colleagues to complete the NHS Staff Survey by giving reminders and protected time where possible (as well as some treats!). Their feedback is vital — it helps us understand what’s working and where we can do better, so we can keep improving staff experience and patient care."

Please note that colleagues in CHS take part in a separate annual staff survey.
