There was a fantastic turnout to the Kirklees Armed Forces Day last Wednesday, 24th September.

A wide range of organisations attended to offer support and guidance to the Armed Forces community as well as information to those seeking to learn more.

Managing Director Digital Health, Rob Birkett, said: "It was really good to welcome Kirklees Armed Forces to CHFT. As an organisation, we're proud of our armed forces covenant and our veteran aware status, which supports both our patients and colleagues who have a link to the armed forces.

"A great attendance from charity organisations, third sector, The Windrush Veterans Association, Kirklees council and colleagues within the Trust."

A huge thank you to Tommy's Lounge for providing refreshments, to Lindsey Nicholson, Lucy Taylor and everyone else who contributed to making the event so successful.
