Raffle tickets are now available to help support the CHFT Charity Maternity Bereavement Appeal. Colleagues can get hold of them in books of five to sell to friends and family.
The tickets have all the details you need and the stub is kept by CHFT Charity which has all the information needed to contact winners. It means you do not need to have multiple raffle ticket books in each department, instead departments can have some of the official tickets for people to buy.
Head of Charity and Volunteering Services, Emma Kovaleski, said: "We have 1,000 tickets to sell, they are in books of five and are a nice easy way for CHFT colleagues to help support the Maternity Bereavement Appeal. I took three books home and popped a message in my boys school bags and on the school WhatsApp groups and have sold all 15 tickets in no time at all!
"It isn't just for colleagues either, if any friends or family would like to sell a book too, they are welcome to get in touch with us."
Deputy Director of Midwifery, Laura Douglas, said: "They look fabulous. As a team we will all certainly help with selling!"
Emma added: "We have the most amazing workforce, and at near 7,000 colleagues strong if we all played a little part in supporting the appeal we could together make the most incredible difference."
To buy tickets, colleagues can email chftfundraising@cht.nhs.uk or call into the charity office in the main entrance at HRI (Mon-Fri between 09:00 to 16:00).
