CHFT's first Filipino Festival was held last week in the Learning Centre at CRH, hosted as part of the Race Equality Network (REN).

The event celebrated Filipino culture and heritage and our Filipino colleagues kindly shared their traditions, flavours, music and stories.

Organisational Development Lead, James Teal, attended the festival and said: "It was an amazing event. There were presentations from colleagues about the history and traditions on the Philippines, traditional dancing and stories from colleagues about their journey in coming from the Philippines to CHFT which was really interesting to hear.

"There was also some incredible Filipino food! It was fantastic to see the pride that the community has for its culture and history."

Thank you to Clinical Educator, Honey Castillo, and everyone who worked so hard to put on an amazing event.
