The Patient Experience Team is leading the development of the Trust’s new Patient and Carer Experience and Involvement Strategy. The strategy will help set the direction for how CHFT strengthens involvement with communities and improves experience for patients and families.

Head of Patient Experience, Lynsey Nicholson, said: "We would love to hear the views of as many colleagues as possible. Your feedback is so important and it will be carefully reviewed and considered for both the final strategy document and the delivery plan.

"The draft strategy has been shaped by both national priorities in the national 10-Year Plan and our local ambitions. Our vision is to create services that are informed by the lived experiences of patients, carers, and families. By listening, respecting, and involving people in every decision, we aim to build genuine partnerships with our communities, improve health outcomes, and ensure that everyone feels valued and included."

You can read the strategy on the intranet here.
