The Kirklees Armed Forces Covenant Board and CHFT are working together to host a community information event on Wednesday, 24th September at HRI.

It will bring together a wide range of organisations that offer support and guidance to the Armed Forces community – including serving personnel, veterans, reservists, and their families – as well as professionals who work alongside them.

Everyone is welcome to drop in to the Boardroom at HRI between 13:30 and 15:30. The event will include:

• Information about the work CHFT is doing as part of its commitment to being an NHS Veteran Aware organisation and a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant.
• Service information stalls. Including Department for Work and Pensions, NHS, Veterans UK, Thrive Together North, Kirklees Wellness Service, Kirklees Local TV, The Rural Veteran Hubs and more.
• Mini workshops and talks.
• Veterans’ storytelling corner.
• Mobile health checks.
• Refreshments (tea, coffee, juice, biscuits).

No booking is required – just come along at a time that suits you.
