Specialist Gastro Nurse, Caroline Winkley, is coming back down to earth after celebrating the fabulous achievements of her daughter Ava in Dresden, Germany, last week at the World Transplant Games.

Ava competed in various personal swims and team relays bagging seven gold medals (five personal) and six world records (four personal and two with the relay team).

Caroline said: "She has worked so hard for this, I'm so very proud of her. 

"This is not a fluke but down to the hard work and determination Ava has shown in the last year in preparation for these games. I am so proud and also exhausted. "
