Last week, Healthcare Assistant on Ward 8AD, Christine Healey retired after almost 40 years at CHFT.

Christine was one of our first colleagues to work in Calderdale Royal Hospital when it opened in 2001.

Christine said: "I have really enjoyed using my experience to support the extra capacity winter wards and to help train and develop new colleagues."

But she won't be gone for long - Christine already has plans to come back for bank shifts. She can't stay away!
