Our LGBTQ+ Network is searching for a passionate and committed individual to be their Chair.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead, advocate, and support the LGBTQ+ community within CHFT, while championing diversity, inclusion, and equality in all aspects of our work.
The Pride Chair role will be undertaken alongside your substantive role and interested candidates are encouraged to speak with their manager to request time for meetings, arrange events and collaborate with other networks.
Former Pride Chair, Naomi Roberts, said: "Being the chair of the Pride Network at CHFT has been so rewarding. It's given me the opportunity to amplify LGBTQ+ voices, and help build a more inclusive and supportive workplace for everyone.
"I've grown both personally and professionally, connecting with passionate and inspiring people. If you're looking for a role that challenges, inspires, and makes a difference - this is it."
Assistant Director of Human Resources, Nikki Hosty, said: "Equality group chairs are crucial for driving forward inclusion - a place where everyone feels like they belong. The Pride Chair role is vital in ensuring the LGBTQ+ CHFT workforce community feel valued and heard.
"So if you would like to represent the LGBTQ+ community within CHFT and you want to make a difference we would love to hear from you."
