There is a national enteral feed shortage which is impacting supplies at CHFT. The Out of Hours Enteral Feed Regime has been updated to reflect the current position. 

Please follow the Out of Hours guidelines and complete a Dietitian referral for a review the next working day. 

The guidelines currently state:

"If Nutrison Protein Plus Multifibre is not available, please use either Nutrison Protein Plus, OR, Abbott Jevity Plus, and follow the same build up regimens as above. Please note this regime is for out of hours use only. Please ensure a referral is made to the Dietitian on EPR ASAP for review the next working day"
