Calderdale’s annual celebration of the emergency services is set to take place at the Old Brods Rugby Club in Hipperholme on Sunday, 13th July with some of the funds raised going to our A&E at CRH.
Starting at 12:00 - 17:00, this family event will feature an array of emergency vehicles and personnel that save lives every day across the region. The main rugby pitch, next to the clubhouse, will welcome West Yorkshire departments from Fire and Rescue, Police, the Ambulance Service, Calder Valley Mountain Rescue and many more. Representatives will be on-hand to meet families, talk about what they do daily and give demonstrations.
There will also be live music, food and drink, and additional activities for the kids. And just like the music festival; the Brodstock Emergency Services Day is completely not-for-profit and will be raising funds for good causes. They include The Fire Fighters’ Charity, CRH A&E, Invictus Wellbeing and the Old Brods Rugby Club.
Tickets are available online and are priced at £5 each (under 12s go free).
