The West Yorkshire Global Fellowship is a hybrid programme where you develop your skills and experience by spending three months overseas completing a global health project, either in Kerala (India) or in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Caribbean). You then return to your organisation with protected time to put what you learned into practice.

The Fellowship develops leadership skills, professional practice, personal development, resilience, cultural competence, and communication. It is open to all West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership staff.

This is a new model for the West Yorkshire Global Fellowship, which has been designed based on staff feedback to make it more accessible and better support you to translate your global learning into practice.

There are two upcoming Fellowship cohorts, from August 2025 and from February 2026. For more information about the Fellowship and to apply visit the website.

Applications for August cohort close Friday 1 August 2025, 11:59pm. Applications for the February cohort will close December 2025.
