Our ever-popular Work Together Get Results (WTGR) sessions are personal development sessions hosted by our Workforce and Organisation Development Team.
The sessions support colleagues to co-create the change they want to see, in order to improve colleague and patient experience. It’s a collection of 16 tools that enable colleagues to lead transformational change and be a more engaged leader.
The two-day, face-to-face workshop provides tools that, when understood and consistently applied, have the capacity to transform the way we work. The sessions are most suited for colleagues who have management responsibilities.
General Manager, Dominic Bryan, who has taken part in recent sessions, said: "I have had the pleasure of being a part of a few WTGR sessions in recent months, with both Nikki Hosty and James Teal as facilitators. I have also used the framework to facilitate a session myself and found these very helpful.
"The methodology can be applied to any goal or objective you are setting out to achieve. The 3R’s allow for open and honest discussions around where you are aspiring to be, what the current state of play is, and allows you to develop a robust action plan following the first two discussions. This helps focus the conversation and ensures you stay on track by eliminating any irrelevant information. The MoSCoW* tool further allows you to prioritise your action plan/approach. It helps give structure and naturally drives engagement from everyone involved in developing the actions which shape the improvement plans going forward.
"I will continue to keep using these tools as it makes my life a lot easier as a General Manager."
