Kidney Research UK is offering a suite of nurse-led research grants, designed to empower nurses to turn clinical insight into patient-focused research. 

Grants available:

• Start-up research grants
• Research project grants
• Clinical PhD fellowships
• (MRes grants open separately — details below)

They're especially encouraging:

• Nurses applying for the first time
• Applications aligned to their research priorities:
  • Transforming treatments
  • Tackling multiple conditions
  • Addressing health inequalities
  • Understanding links between kidney disease and cancer

Mentorship is available for early-stage applicants via the Association of Nephrology Nurses UK (ANN UK).

The deadline to submit an expression of interest is Wednesday, 25th June 2025
