At CHFT we’re supporting Armed Forces (AF) Day to show our appreciation for the brave men and women who put their country before themselves to protect our way of life. Armed Forces Day is our chance to say thank you.
Armed Forces Day takes place on Saturday, 28th June. It marks the culmination of a week of celebrations, beginning today, when the public show their support and appreciation for the Armed Forces community. It also includes Reserves Day (25th June), which gives an opportunity to recognise our Reserve Forces.
CHFT shows its support to the Armed Forces Community through our commitment to the principles in the Armed Forces Covenant. We recognise the unique needs to the armed forces community as well as the transferable skills into the workplace and being an Armed Forces Friendly employer.
It is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from serving personnel to service families, veterans and cadets.
We will mark Armed Forces week with some information stands to share more about support available for the community and what being a Veteran Aware accredited Trust means.

- Thursday, 26th June, 11:30 to 13:30, HRI Southside Dining, Sub Basement
